  3. High interest in portfolio companies Tata AutoComp of India acquires TitanX

  4. Fouriertransform, the state-owned venture capital company, has together with the investment company Girincubator, invested SEK 48 million in the Swedish innovation company re:newcell. The investment will be used to build the world’s first production line for textile pulp from recycled textiles.

  5. A new Australian study, using the Swedish instrument Nevisense, showed it is possible to reduce the number of cases that require digital dermoscopy follow-up by almost half. In addition Nevisense detected most melanoma three months earlier than traditional methods. Nevisense thereby constitutes a valuable complement to a visual exam with a dermatoscope. The study consisted of 118 patients with 160 lesions, and the results will be presented for the first time at the World Congress on Cancers of the Skin in Vienna on September 1.

  6. EQT Opportunity and Fouriertransform sell TitanX to Tata AutoComp Systems Limited.

    Gothenburg, August 16, 2016 -- Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd (“Tata AutoComp”), EQT Opportunity (“EQT”) and Fouriertransform (“Fourier”) have today entered into an agreement whereby Tata AutoComp will acquire TitanX Engine Cooling (“TitanX”).

  7. York Space Systems and AAC Microtec announced a definitive agreement for the supply of advanced command and data handling avionics for York’s S-Class small spacecraft platform. The avionics leverage AAC’s unique design approach with low cost and high reliability. Under the agreement, the electronics will be manufactured by York in the United States; enabling broad reach across US Government and commercial markets.

  8. The European Space Agency ESA has awarded Uppsala-based ÅAC Microtec the contract to develop an advanced miniaturized motion controller for future robotic exploration missions to Mars.
